Tim was a sensitive, fun-seeking, active boy. He loved to play with friends, run, jump, climb, and take the lead. Conversely, Tim often doubted his abilities and sometimes needed encouragement when it came to meeting new people or trying new things. His favorite activities were playing soccer, basketball, roller hockey, skateboarding, and spending time with our dogs- Blondie, Ory, and Gordon.
Tim loved all sports and was a captain of his 8th grade soccer and basketball teams. He continued his love of soccer into high school and was identified as the "toughest sweeper" by his coach. Timís favorite volunteer activity for the Manasquan High School National Honor Society was assistant coaching for several recreation basketball teams and the Spring Lake Heights School team. He also genuinely enjoyed tutoring, both formally and informally. Tim was very happy while working at Hoffmanís Ice Cream from 2004 - 2008 and was later referred to as a "Hoffmanís Legend."
Our family ventured on many day trips in NJ and the tri-state area, vacationed all along the east coast, and traveled to California, and some national parks throughout the U.S. Tim enjoyed historical sights, amusement parks, climbing on jettys, and lots of hotel swimming pools! He was a wonderful son, brother, friend and student and we miss him dearly.
