Ladies and Gentlemen, Mrs. Martensen, Mrs. Genco, Members of the Board of Education, Honored Guests, Faculty, Friends, and most importantly, Parents:
Good evening, my name is Tim Schenke. First of all, I would like to thank my teachers and my family. They have always been there for me, and have influenced me tremendously.
My years at Spring Lake Heights School have been pleasurable and memorable. I think I have been a very dedicated individual at school. I always tried to give my best effort in academics and sports. Playing sports with my friends was my favorite experience at SLH School. Being together always made us want to go out and practice. This year I was voted most talkative by my peers. To my teachers: I didnít mean to be difficult; itís just that I was having such a great time with my friends. Some of the teachers I would like to thank are Mr. Muhlenbruck, Mr. Kuriscak, Ms. McGinley, Mrs. Russo-Alesi, and Mrs. Romeo. Each one has influenced me in his or her own way. I really enjoyed and will always remember playing basketball in the new gym. We were the first 8th grade class to play right here, in this great new addition. I will definitely miss all the good times at SLH School.
At home, I can sometimes be a challenge too. Surprisingly enough, I am the least talkative person in my home. I would like to thank my parents for their patience, for always being there for me, and for all of their guidance and support.
I look forward to an amazing four years at Manasquan High School. The teachers at Heights have made me feel comfortable with going on to high school because of all the advice and wonderful things they have taught me. I look forward to a fulfilling experience, academically and athletically, at Manasquan High School.
