Life is Good at MHS

After a fifth boy, who was a student or recent graduate of Manasquan High School (MHS), died by suicide within a one and a half year period, my son, David, along with his mentor, Mr. Kevin Hyland, decided to take position action. The MHS "Life is Good" program was created to promote an environment of happiness and optimism throughout the school and the community. The first annual "Life is Good Day" was held on December 11, 2009 and the mayor of Manasquan proclaimed it to be annual holiday. A club, the largest club in MHS, has also been formed to provide uplifting, fun events throughout the schoolyear.
